System Overview

Systems using the Verimatrix Multi-DRM system provide entitlement and asset management services. Authorization of these services is through the applications credentials.
A “middleware” platform provides a facade over the services that confirms entitlement and retrieves any digital rights setup for the asset. In the example below, the middleware is responsible for building the DRM authorization token in the Verimatrix format and providing that token to the application.
The client application requests a DRM token from the middleware that establishes trust with device and confirms the entitlement before issuing the token.
