Building your App

Next, build the APK (or AAB).

First, make sure the build variant is set to "Release". Debug builds cannot be protected.

Then build the APK through the dropdown menu option Build->Build Bundles(s) / APK(s)->Build APK(s)

To find the APK, the Android Studio notification (that appears at the bottom right of the screen once the APK is successfully built) can be used to locate the file.

You now have your app ready to upload to Verimatrix app protection.
